I want to start the new year off with introducing another very cool product from TBLeague. Item No:PL2018-129 and her name is Anck Su Namun.

Anck Su Namun was a princess of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. She was the third of six known daughters of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten and his Great Royal Wife Nefertiti and became the Great Royal Wife of her half-brother Tutankhamun. Her youth is well documented in the ancient reliefs and paintings of the reign of her parents.

As sets go this one is very easy to put together. She comes fully dressed and all you need to do is slip her two necklaces over her throat and pop on that pretty head of hers. This set is not designed to have the outfit removed. The head with it's make up and that inserted head knot is not one I would put on another body but drop dead gorgeous on this one as it is a perfect pairing of parts. The weapons are cheap plastic this time but the Gold Cat and the stand are nice.

I wanted a setting that was befitting of her stature. After all a Princess is just one step from being a Queen. What better then a Throne of Stone. I added the Lions Throne from the Cleo set along with the Jackals and the Staff. I had some pieces of fur left over in my bin box and Hercules threw in his Lion head hat from his set to complete the diorama.

In the warm dusk of the night, as the Nile River slowly drifts by, in the evening haze you can just make out the ancient Lion Throne. Long has it sat empty as no one has has yet to step forward and claim it's power for a generation, but tonight things will change. Mysteriously out of the swirl there forms an ancient Sarcophagi. It is covered in runes and elaborate paintings of an Egyptian Princess of unearthly youth and beauty. It opens and the contents are revealed to the evening sky as wondrous sight appears. Out steps Anck Su Namun, her raven hair falling about her classic beauty and dark piercing eyes. She stands before the throne, the Staff of Power in her hands and declares that she is now the rightful queen of all the Ancient world!. As she takes her seat and peers into the evening, her totem, that of a golden feline, appears to affirm her claim to the throne.

The Morning and they come, the great and powerful bow before her beauty, even the beasts of the jungle are mesmerized. She stands proudly and even defies a Goddess as she asserts her authority. Can she keep this power in her grasp? Is she to rule from the Lion Throne for ever?

She Is a sight to behold..!  I love that hair.. Pity there is no head sculpt for sale on it's own that has this hair do..

A simple but very effective diorama.. The extra props from the other sets really makes it shine.. Well done..

Oz..

Thanks OZ! It's amazing what you can use to create another world...

good looking girl there lone but i didn't know they had double stick tape to hold her top on back in those days.

I think they used a combination of honey and paste so you could lick them of latter. Imagine being forced to have to lick those of at least once every day...the horror of it all! lol!

Ok, so the bricks probably came out of the terrace of your giant size neighbour dolls, but what the heck. You have built an amazing scene and I really feel being in ancient Egypt when watching your series.  I think the real Anck Su Namun would be utterly pleased when she would see this. I know I would! laughheart
