Searching for new ideas

I know they're in here somewhere.

We're a bit stumped for ideas and yes its getting a bit late in the month to be fishing for new ones. What I suppose we would like to know is should we do a photo shoot in the vein of the last couple of months (and it doesn't have to feature the Russian) OR a continuing photo story like the year long spy thriller? Although if a story it definitely won't be as long as the last one was.

So I suppose we do have some ideas but what we really need is direction.

Well that's a hard one. I really love the photo story, however I always love to see a small shoot.

We haven't seen a shoot of Zara in awhile, so I would say a nice sexy Zara shoot }:) :) But that's just me ;)

Your photos are always good but to help your search.

All of us have our own distinctive style of photography and portrayal of our dolls - despite whatever variation we may try to use.

In a vehicle such as CD, which is an online magazine for the Doll Community, it is a question of how best to compliment the doll photography with something of interest, just like any other magazine one may pick up from a newsagent stall. CD has a disadvantage however in relying on the goodwill of volunteers rather than dedicated paid staff to produce an entertaining monthly magazine. It also does not have the advantage of the 'real life bullshit stories of the comings and goings of the rich and famous".

But people love stories, anecdotes and articles (well I do anyway) made up or otherwise.

The spy before Christmas was a most enjoyable and popular little vignette to compliment your photos of Zara and Lubov. bmans Living Dolls, the little stories TG adds to Kharn's V-Babes, dollyforme's movie reviews and professor Zoe's Fashion tips as well as the CoverDoll all add to the 'magazine' as a 'magazine'.

So, Ideas?

Joke(s) which go with the photo(s), loosely or otherwise.

Vignette, ongoing like the spy B C or just a one off like the one we did together with Strip Poker or my 'Blonde on Blonde' or as Bubbles does so well, but in your style.

Gossip and Scandal. As in the tabloids - they make most of that stuff up to go with the papparazzi photos they get.

Travelogue. Place the girls in a destination scene and say a bit about the place. Or iconic oz places and do a tour of Australia over a period of months.

Mens Stuff. You know hunting, shooting, fishing, cars and bikes - not our cup of tea but men seem to like it.

Cuisine. Well that can go lots of places.

One Liners with the photos in a photo shoot.

Can be brief or longer - just something to go with the photo(s) to add interest.

One other thing. Many older members have gone or moved on and newer ones joined, so don't be afraid to repost some of your older goodies. Many would not have seen them.
