Sex and the Back Door.

Love it or hate it. Hot topic or taboo subject? Either way, Anal Sex has been around for centuries, on the rise over the past decade (according to Sexperts) and its practice not to be simply 'sniffed' at. Statistics are imprecise across the broader spectrum but more than two thirds of Homos' and one third of Heteros' have tried it, at least once, falling to around 50% and 25% (?) respectively on a 'more or less' regular basis. If not done right however it hurts -- a lot.

What became clear from the multitude of Articles, Blogs, Threads and their accompanying responses (applying to all groups and variations) are the rules for mutually satisfactory back door 'pleasure' ........

Specifically: A relaxed and willing recipient, lots of lube, taking it slow, easy & careful and always being mindful of, and respond accordingly, to the wishes of the one being buggered.

More generally: Preparation - such as prior bowel evacuation and opening up (sometimes over time with successively larger vibrators or fingering), condom use and a clear understanding between the partners.

Some women can orgasm receiving anal sex - usually as a result of simultaneous stimulation of the clitoris, the 'fullness' feeling, her individual anatomy being particularly conducive to the practice and the fact that, as a general rule, orgasmic women are more willing to dabble in unconventional things, including anal sex, because compared with other women, sex is more fun for them & orgasmic payoff more likely. Some men can also achieve orgasm receiving anal sex, for much the same reasons, and yes, a few ask for their female partners to use 'strap on's'. However the incidence of orgasmic pleasure is not particularly high.

So whats going on? Natural curiosity, breaking taboos, experimentation and the seeing of lots of anal on the internet (including the proliferation of 'How To instruction) & porn can explain first timers. However, as the risk of infection and physical damage, not to mention discomfort with a capital D, is high, why do many who don't have a 'big O' or pleasure outcome, continue?

For Guys - who definitely cajole & pressure their partners, either directly or with the old "oops. sorry, it slipped routine"  - because its tight, as a boast to his mates that he has 'done it' and gender domination with the claim of total and complete conquest.

For Gals - well, it's the ultimate gift to please their mate (if they want it). They also acquiesce as a bargaining chip / reward / very special birthday present.", to match their competition, to avoid pregnancy or just simply submit for some peace and quiet or an expression of unconditional love.

Just a word of caution. Enjoyable or not, long term regular anal sex can lead to longer term medical issues and vibrators, if lost inside, can buzz their way 'up the Kyber', so to speak, requiring surgical removal. Sodomy in many countries, if discovered, is very severely punished.
