Our Monthly Featured Photographer for September is b-man:

Summer in the Pacific Northwest is usually a busy time for me, and this year has been no exception. The weather has been co-operating so, I'm not home much during the day. However, mid week, we got a spate of rain and I found myself arriving home early. There I found Chloe and Katrina loafing around the house doing cross word puzzles and watching TV in their nowhere to go nothing to do clothes. So, we had an impromptu photo session which, ended with the three of us finding a way to spend a rainy Wednesday afternoon.

OK, here's what I used for these. I have an Olympus E-Volt 500 DSLR, mounted on a tripod, with no flash. I used two soft box diffused photo floods for lighting. That's pretty much it for the equipment.

your photography. Good photo shoots can be had with low cost digital
cameras. It is all in the technique.
