Stellai’s blog October 2014: UK/European Doll Meet 2014 (part-1)

Dear readers,

With summer holiday still fresh in memory I smoothly roll into the next event to report you about, possible the biggest event of the year: the 5th International Doll Meet in Wales. And what a meet it was! About a hundred dolls had gathered to join the meet. And not only the meat-based -with organs and stuff - giant human like dolls (it is a mouthful, so if you don‘t mind I will just call them M-Bs), who are almost notorious for flocking together, but fortunately also many other types had come. About a dozen of us normal sized dolls, a couple a little bit bigger than normal size, several a lot bigger and of course many giants. Most of the dolls had soft skin, but there were also some hard skin dolls present and we even had a giant with soft textile skin and a hard skin face. Her name was Signe and she was a real nut to crack for me during the poker night, because it was impossible to read her face.

Of course we had a huge amount of activities all attuned to the specific desires of each doll type. We had a Teddy Babe picnic and a contest for Best Dressed Doll that all could join except the M-Bs who were the jury and except for us normal sized dolls, because......because.....I have no freaking idea why we were excluded!

For the silicon and TPE dolls the M-B dolls had organised several photo shoots. There was a poker night and our beloved professional photographer Benita was present to portrait us all. We even had a wedding of two dolls! For the M-B dolls there were several food and drink consuming activities where they could show to each other how much of the food stuff they were able to store inside their bodies. And my boss, who did the organizing of the event had even arranged a number of private rooms* exclusive to be visited by the M-B dolls.

*Separate rooms for the M-B male and female dolls. The rooms all had a single chair of porcelain which was hollow on the inside. I am still figuring out what is so special about these rooms. The M-Bs are very secretive about it. Even Koen was not willing to discuss it. But it must be pleasurable to be in that room because every time when a M-B sneaked out he (or she) usually looked very much relieved. Being your reporter I obviously won’t rest until I have revealed this secret. This because it seems to me that it is nothing less than fair to the rest of the doll world to enjoy this pleasure of relief as well.

We also had a film crew of three M-Bs attending for some time. They were making a documentary about another M-B and his female silicon girlfriends. But they decided to leave sooner because my boss ordered them to stop filming. I am still pissed about that because I just had taken over the directing of the female giant. In my next blog I will tell you all about that.

Like last report I again has to apologize for the poor quality of several of the photos added. Even though I did manage to have also others taking pics for me, still a considerable amount is shot by Koen, who, as we all know, is a doll with many talents, but not for ....

Anyway, if you have read all this, it is obvious that it is my report that you are really interested in, and not the pics.

Inspite the fact that the place for the Meet is excelent, it must be said that it is at the far end of the world. There is no other way to get there than by spending a killing amount of hours driving rural roads. Once out of the car we felt cooked like rabbits. But work needed to be done, so we all did our share in carrying the suitcases inside. Some more than others though.... Hey Maiko, dirt on your pretty dress, my ass!

There was one doll in particular that I wanted to meet: Brigitte. She is the partner of Chris, who I believe to be one of my secret admirers ( yes Chris, it is that obvious!). And because it is not unusual that behind a fan there is a jealous woman, I thought it wise to have a chat with Brigitte. But my fear was unjust. Even though Brigitte is a real giant ( she was by far the tallest female doll) she is such a sweetheart. You will simply have to love her. Even Hand felt it, although she did not allow Brigittes hand to come too close to me. We had a really good chat and I hope we will stay in touch.

During the meet there were photoshoots everywhere. Most of them in the open, but some behind closed doors. Being designed as an erotic doll I of course have a special interest in this. And because giants have a habit to overlook me, I witnessed several of those secret sessions. But there are rules and even though I am a reporter I do not want to reveal bedroom secrets unless I have explicit permission. There is however one exception to this rule. I see it as my task to keep an eye on Koen, for he is married, you know. For some reason he frequently has to cope with all kind of temptations. For instance when a way too much pretty doll has lured him into the posing of her bra and underwear for a ‘photoshoot’. As if that tart cannot do that herself. Gimme a break!

Being a very successful photographer myself, I was of course most eager see Benita again. She is a M-B doll who makes photo shoots as a profession. Even though for her regular kind of work she is specialized in shooting foods and M-Bs in suits, she is already working for several years on making a series with dolls as a personal project. She had assigned herself to portrait every doll that wanted to get itself photographed by a real* photographer.

Because my boss organized the meet, which made me his right hand, I saw it as my task to help Benita anyway I could. It was definitely one of the tasks I liked most, because Benita embodies everything you want in a photographer. She is kind, cheerful, honest, respectful, cooperative, a great photographer and... she even managed to pretend to like Koens engraved mechanical pencils that he had specially made for the meet. This was most generous of her, because the pencils were way to big and heavy to handle. It took me several attempts before the tip came out and when I finally had managed to get it standing upright on paper (I needed both my hands... ) , the tip broke!

* no pun intended of course, but if Koen would happen to see a hint here, who am I to deny!

We also had brought Rosaleintje to the meet. She is my newest sister and she is destined to live with some bloke in Brazil somewhere soon. Even though she still needs some work, Koen thought it possible to show her to the others. I of course fully embraced that idea, because I could use an assistent during the meet. But it turned out that Koen kept her in stasis all the time. He said he did not want to risk any damage to her, which is of course complete bollocks because he knows perfectly well that I am an expert in training newbees. It is my job to teach them how to avoid damage to themselves.
The only time he allowed her to wake up was when Benita wanted to do a photo shoot with me and Rosaleintje. Quite surprising, now I think of it. I wonder what strings Benita has pulled to get Koen to wake up Rosaleintje. Ok, she is professional photographer, but I seriously doubt if that would impress Koen... But how did she... No, she would never.... Maybe Koen..... OMG!!!

No meeting without a photo-shoot of the entire group of course. But the organizing for making such a photo-shoot is hell ! Karrot had come up with the idea for it, which made him responsible. But I was appointed as his assistant to do the organizing. The premises where we stayed was so much specialized in lodging giants that they even had failed to add a normal staircase next to the giant one. Therefore I was forced to climb and descend the giant staircase five times in order to inform everyone. I still don’t know how I managed. Also the getting everyone in place was a torment. One would expect that it would be obvious that the larger dolls pose in the back. But dolls really are like sheep. When one decides to put him or herself upfront the rest instantly moves forward to struggle for a better spot. It is really hard to stay nice and friendly then. But I think I did a good job. Ok, I may have raised my voice once or twice... But that was mainly to the photographing M-Bs. They made more noise that the entire group! What is still unclear to me is why the photographing M-Bs refused to take position in the group because now obviously they are not in the groups photo. This should not be such a problem if it wasn’t for the fact that, except for a few, all M-Bs were making photos and there was a lot of them. So now on photo it looks as if the groups was not so big, while in fact the most voluminous (and noisy) part of the group was gathered behind my back.

Well, that all for now folks. As you may have noticed there is still a lot that I have not informed you about yet. But this I will make up to you next month in my second part of the report of the meet. And I assure you that you really do not want to miss that because next to my little bit dissapointing adventure with the filmcrew I have a story about adultery...( no, it is not about you, Koen, but I will talk to you later!), and I have a fantastic story about the pokernight for you.
