"Behaving Badly "

"As Reported by Dollyforme"

I got this from Redbox and thought it was very funny. Basically a young kid has all the local Cougars after him. Behaving Badly begins with Rick Stevens (Nat Wolff) explaining that everyone in the story he's about to narrate is guilty of something—except, that is, for pious straight-A student Nina Pennington (Selena Gomez). A paragon of virtue, she naturally entices Rick, who's saddled with an alcoholic mother (Mary-Louise Parker), a sexual weirdo for a father (Cary Elwes), and a stripper for a sister (Ashley Rickards).

If you like forty year old hotties, Heather Graham is in the movis as a hot lawyer and looks fabulous. is an American actress. After starring in various commercials, her first starring role came in 1988 with the teen comedy License to Drive, followed by her breakthrough role in Gus Van Sant's critically acclaimed 1989 film Drugstore Cowboy. She then played a number of supporting roles in films such as Shout (1991), Six Degrees of Separation (1993), Swingers (1996) and in the television series Twin Peaks (1991) and its prequel film Fire Walk with Me (1992) before gaining critical praise as porn starlet Brandi/Rollergirl in Paul Thomas Anderson's Boogie Nights (1997). In 1999, she co-starred in Bowfinger and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.

In the 2000s, Graham starred in a number of movies ranging from studio films to major films like Committed (2000), Say It Isn't So (2001), Anger Management (2003), Mary (2005), Gray Matters (2007), The Hangover (2009) and The Hangover Part III (2013). She also had a role in the TV series Scrubs in 2004, before starring as the title character in the short-lived (one episode) Emily's Reasons Why Not in 2006. Widely regarded as a sex symbol, she often appears in magazines' lists of "Most Beautiful" and "Sexiest" women.

Heather does lots of small odd comedies – and this movie is one of them.

Like most movie teens, Rick is prepossessed by sex and drugs, though he's uniquely wracked with a sense of slow-burning Catholic guilt. After making a bet with a mobster's son that he can score with Nina by week's end, the bawdy Patron Saint of Teenagers (also played by Parker) who appears to him in visions forces him to confront his sinful failings, as in bedding his best friend's mother (Elisabeth Shue).

Eventually he recognizes Nina not simply as a girl with whom he wants to hook up, but one who can save his wayward soul in a den of adult iniquity where the school principal (Patrick Warburton) peeps into the girl's locker room and the local priest (Jason Lee) has foregone his vow of clerical celibacy and is in league with the Lithuanian mafia. All this impressing of matters of faith upon a generally secular genre is the foundation of an interesting idea, but it's frustratingly canceled out by director Tim Garrick's decision to fall back on the trappings of the film's innumerable teenage gross-out forefathers with tiresome vulgarity and rote misunderstandings in place of genuine insight.

Rick's ultimate journey becomes less about atonement than simply getting the girl, and moral reclamation reveals itself as the vehicle by which to peddle a bunch of people behaving badly.

There are lots great snickers in this movie – most come from the supporting cast. Parker plays a great drunk, Shue flings herself into trampiness, Graham, playing another in a long line of loose women, vamps up a sexy lawyer high on Ecstasy. Buchanan, playing Billy, the confused and wimpy best friend, makes the most of the funniest lines.

Overall – worth a buck at redbox.

Yes, Heather Graham is gorgeous. Thanks for the review. Always been attracted to Mary Louise Parker, I wonder if she still looks good, drunk or otherwise.
