Look what I bought my girls!

Welcome to my first blog. We hope you enjoy it.

Last month, our lovely Ally had the honour of being April 2015 Cover Doll. For the past 30 years I have preferred two wheels as my transport, so to take Ally out for her photoshoot I had to hire a car. I didn't want to keep hiring cars and I didn't think it was a good idea to take my girls out on the back of a motorcycle (even though they ALL want to) so........... 

I have bought my girls their own car and they have named it "Mitsy" the little blue Mitsubishi Lancer.

Dee, MaDee and Nikki all refer to it as "our Mitsy". Ally however likes to tease them by saying it's her car, always with a cheeky smile on her face.
Nikki being the car lover of our family was quick to say she wanted to be the girl to do this shoot.

The day we went out was a weekend so finding somewhere that didn't have too many onlookers took a while. I'm still very new at taking my girls out in public so the fewer people we meet the more comfortable I feel. This spot we found seemed to be an intersection for mountain bikers and 4 wheel drive vehicles. I think 4WD are also known as RVs. Everyone who rode or drove past us smiled or said hello. No one was negative. One mountain biker stopped to ask if I was photographing the car or the 'mannequin'. I said both. I turned Nikki's head to look at him and jokingly said "a Japanese girl and a Japanese car, why not?" He looked a little confused as he said "OH..........enjoy the rest of your day" and rode away.

At one point I had Nikki bent over the bonnet to show how well her jeans fit her and a group of about 4 or 5 4WDs filed slowly past. They were quite young as they had P plates displayed(probationary drivers). They all had BIG smiles and said "G'day", even the girls as they leaned across to get a good look at Nikki in her sexy skinny jeans as they drove past.

Although Nikki didn't try to drive like Ally did, she did say she felt like one of the girls in 'Fast and Furious' with a very cool "Wha's up"
