Lingerie.

It's expensive, there's not much of it and it's not used that often. So what is the allure of Lingerie? Following on from last month blog about nudity, which is not really about sex, comfort certainly and perhaps raw sex, but with just a little covering of fancy lingerie and suddenly it's all about sensuality, eroticism, romance and sex.

Here are some of the elements that may make lingerie so enticing- perhaps you can think of some more .....

Growing up we are taught to cover our bodies and not to show our underwear. Lingerie is really an expensive form of underwear - so, naughty, naughty, doing what we're not supposed to is turn on number one. 

Two is that it is cut in such a way to highlight a woman's form to best advantage - and we all like a woman's form right?

Three is that it is made from soft, sexy feeling material - feels so good.

Four is that lingerie generally has 'sexy' colours or combinations of colour saying to the beholders eyes 'sex please',  rather like a female Baboons arse - to a male Baboon that is.

Five, well we are visual creatures and the lack of opacity to hidden delights - well that is definitely a turn on.

Six is that women tend to wear lingerie or similar to bed and bed is associated with sex - with such a very positive association, like perfume - maybe we just might get lucky come bedtime.

But possibly the two biggest turn ons about Lingerie are:

1. Like gifts for Birthdays and Christmas the wrapping of the gift inside is just so important.  and

2. Lingerie helps make women feel sexy - and there is no bigger turn on for us than a woman who feels sexy and promotes her sexuality.

My ex-wife and her good friend once went shopping for lingerie. My ex picked up something off the rack and asked her friend what she thought of it. She took it from my ex's hand and threw it on the floor. When asked why, she replied.

"Well, that's where it's gonna end up as soon as you husband sees it."

Men are all the same.
