Our Monthly Featured Photographer for June is yeronda:

This was a tough shoot. I had the idea for it since Nataliya arrived, but it's been so hot and muggy (80F shortly after sunrise, 90's by 10am with 60% humidity!) here the last couple weeks that doing much of anything outside would be miserable. It finally cooled off for a day, so it was pleasent and not so humid in the morning. Just one problem - it also got really windy. Even using water bags to weigh tripods down the reflector was blowing all over the place. For the "legs" shot I was literally holding the reflector in position with one hand to get light on her legs, and the camera in the other.
The basic storyline is pretty obvious - Nataliya getting ready to head out for a drive. The shots on the bed putting on hose are something I've noticed over time: the more beautiful and elegant and beautiful the final result, getting ready is an awkward and time consuming process!

Finally, wardrobe - the dress is a "Glamorous Women Cap Sleeve Lace Fit and Flare Dress", size small. It was OK for this shoot, fit well, looks great from the front but the back zipper seems flimsy and is too exposed, and not sure how well it will hold up. However, for $30 hard to complain! Jewelry is the "Apple Coral Necklace/Bracelet/Earrings" set from the Southwest Indian Foundation, which helps Native American craftsmen and families. Shoes are the high heels that Abyss sells with the RD's.

These were all taken with either a Leica M typ 240 (that's correct German, "typ", shots 01-06) or R9 with Digital Modul R (07-14), and either the Vario-Elmar-R 35-70mm or Elmarit 19mm (08,09,10).  The only one that is not "as shot" is 04stand_inside.  I blurred out the stand in that one.  None of the others were manipulated other than exporting them from the Leica DNG format to JPEG.

As a bonus there's one more shot that might be interesting, showing the "set".

Nataliya Antonova is an Abyss RealDoll2, Body C, with the "Natalie" head, the "Natalie Configuration 2" with some minor modifications like hazel eyes and human hair eyebrows.

Regards,
Yeronda

Note from the Editor: Each month we will feature a different

photographer's work. We invite doll owners and manufacturers
alike to participate in this new monthly feature. Photo shoots must meet
a minimum quality level. If you do not meet that level we are happy to
work with you, critique your photos and help you to raise the bar on
your photography. Good photo shoots can be had with low cost digital
cameras. It is all in the technique.

Hey Yeronda! Great set of images here. I love the tub shots. Wow. That had to be difficult to set up. And you know I love her body! I was at an event yesterday and there was a bodyC walking around. I could not take my eyes off her!
Great blog!

Hi Yeronda, now that´s a beauty of a car but Nataliya is just as fantastic. I love the pics with both of them best like the one showing off Nataliya´s amazing legs in the open door and the one with her face´s reflection in the inside mirror- stunning!
