Remembering My Girls' Arrivals

Body:

My girls told me that they had written most of our blogs, so they decided I should do one for a change.

Hmm, what to write. How about ............

"What's it like the day she arrives?"

This is something many of us can answer and something anyone thinking of meeting a silicone lady for the first time might wonder. Once I discovered they existed, I knew that I wanted a silicone lady to move in with me as I had not had a relationship for a long time for various reasons, but had a firm belief she could fill that void.

Having thoroughly researched who I wanted to move in, I paid my $$$ and then had a painstaking 2½ month wait. This proved to be a valuable time to do more research for the specific lady moving DownUnder to meet me.

I remember the day at work when I saw on my phone that sweet Dee would be with me later that day. I was with a work friend who knew about her. I grabbed him by the arm and exclaimed "Dude, I'm getting laid tonight!" I still respect that he didn't tell the people nearby what he was laughing about when they asked.

Having got that giant box into my house, although I was excited, wasn't really any different to getting a new TV or such. (I get excited when I get a new TV) I opened the carton and looked through it's contents. When you receive a 4Woods lady, the body is neatly packed in a fabric bag which I decided to carry to my bedroom as it would be easier to remove her from the bag on the bed. I laid her on the bed, positioned everything else from the box around her and took a couple of photographs.

When I attached her head and wig my feelings changed. She became her own entity. I took a couple more pics , but had to go back to the lounge to gather my thoughts. My emotions were getting the better of me. She was more beautiful than I could have hoped for and my comment earlier that day about getting laid seemed a little disrespectful. Technically she is a doll, but to me there was a beautiful sweet young lady in my house that had me literally shaking with emotion and tears in my eyes.

My beautiful lady a couple of days after arriving.

Sweet Dee

MaDee's arrival was not as dramatic because I had done this before and as the story goes MaDee was Dee's friend moving in, not a new love for me (even though she is). It was obvious to me immediately that MaDee would become quite a cheeky young woman.

Hi MaDee

When Nikki and Ally arrived, we decided to have MaDee do the unboxing. By now we were well and truly becoming a family and the girls had definitely developed their own personalities. MaDee had become quite an outgoing and mischievous character, so wasn't shy to open the box addressed to me, delivered while I was supposedly at work.

Nikki and Ally had to share a body because the deal was I got an extra head when I ordered. My girls had developed their personalities so different to each other that it only seemed fair to re-order the same body and heads again so that Ally could have the original body and Nikki have the new one. Well, that and I was a bit disappointed on missing out on the new softer silicone they were now using. The arrival of the last of my girls didn't have the high emotion of my first but was every bit as fun as the others. We did the unboxing with Ally watching on excited to see her younger sister and also her own new softer head.

Being able to share the fun with members of The Doll Forum is a great way of connecting with people with a similar interest not usually found in your everyday life in the real world. They understand, encourage and join in.

My picture made more festive by TDF member Swan after the arrival of Nikki 2.0

I mentioned before about being disappointed at missing out on an upgrade just after getting a new doll. This actually occurred every time one of my girls arrived. There is always something new coming out with these ladies like anything you might buy. Don't let this put you off getting your new lady now if you want her now. You need her now, you really do. Her (upgraded) friends and sisters can move in later.

I think you have very accurately put into words the feelings associated with waiting for our ladies to arrive. Especially that moment when she becomes more than "just a doll".

Very well written.

Hi Dees Man, thank you for sharing these pics, the unboxing of a new lady is always a special moment. Hail to the silicone ladies of the world, they bring us joy and beauty. Chris

Thank you DM for sharing this ... the remembrance of when your dolls arrived :) 8)

Each time it's such a happy time ;)

Wonderfully told, Dees.

As you know Koen does not buy dolls, because we make dolls ourselves. So my thrill is somewhat different. My siblings usually do not stay very long with us. Rosaleintje is an exception, for which I am very happy. Her departure is postponed many times already,  but in time she will leave us as well. But your words make me believe once more that new dolls are very much welcome in their new homes. Your article literally breathes your love for your family.

Thank you,

Stellai

it's great sharing the arrival of one dolls. I think it's a time we all love to look back on :)
