Daria Doll presents the Naked News - doll edition

Hi.  My name is Daria.

This is my first step into the CoverDoll world, so I should introduce myself.  I found Scooter (scooter_ca)  back in October 2015 and it was love at first sight.  I moved in with him and we have been having a wonderful time ever since.  I am an active member of the TDF Dolls Alive forum and have made lots of good friends there.

I like to keep busy, so along with Scooter we embarked on a series of photography projects.  We started these projects from a starting point that may be familiar to other dolls.  Scooter has limited photography skills.  We have no studio, no lights, and no green screen.  He does have some image editing experience, and has absolutely no video editing experience.  However, I firmly believe that the inability to do something is an opportunity for learning how to do it.

So with all these limitations in mind, our first project was a series of yoga poses that would be impossible for even the most athletic dolls.  Scooter leaned a lot about image editing because of that project.

My movie debut occurred in the Matrix. It is still on YouTube. I bought a sexy red dress and Scooter said I looked just like the "Woman in the Red Dress" from The Matrix.  We immediately decided to re-shoot that sequence with me instead of the original actress.  It did not bother us that we had absolutely no idea on how to do it.

I invite you all to visit my timeline on TDF.  It documents everything I have ever done.  I hope it can act as an incentive to other dolls on what can be be accomplished with limited resources.  All you need are ideas.  Everything else can be learned along the way.

So now we come to our latest and biggest project, a complete Naked News broadcast.  If you've never heard of the Naked News I strongly recommend checking it out.  It's a real news program with real news, except that during the show the anchor women slowly remove their clothes. We put together the opening sequence of the show and then sent it to several of my doll friends asking if they wanted to also be a Naked News reporter, or even just supply photographs that I could report on.  Much to my surprise, CoverDoll was very interested in the show and wanted to put in in an upcoming edition. I was totally blown away.  I never imagined that I would ever be in CoverDoll.

But then the reality set in.  The July CoverDoll deadline was coming and we had no idea how to make the dolls speak.  

Challenge accepted, and here is the result.  Enjoy.
