Introducing......Chef Toy-R-Cees

Hi Coverdollians!  Chef Toy-R-Cees here!  Isn’t that the craziest name you’ve ever heard?

Anyway……some of you may know me as Laura of the TwinToyz!  I have been given the great honor of having a ‘monthly cooking blog’ here at CoverDoll, and in addition to never disappointing…..I know a good many of you may be a bit clueless when it comes to kitchen operations!

No worries dearies!  This first month of our fun in the kitchen I thought we’d begin with something so simple, even a lonely, tired, bachelor (or bachelorette) could handle it and keep his (or her) strength up.  I’m talkin’ about that quick, neat, and sometimes nutritious kitchen staple:  Peanut butter!  

You can make your own with simple peanuts (or any nut is delicious!) and a blender, but to do things fast, you might want to simply pick up a jar at any grocery store, country market, or local gas station. And while you’re there grab yourself…

Peanut butter is great as it quickly hits the hunger spot.  It is ready to go and doesn’t take any time to heat up.  Now lets make a meal out of it.  Spread the peanut butter with a knife….or, if you don’t like sharp things, you can use a spoon or a spatula.  Or just use my preferred method:

This method also makes clean up a cinch…

Did I mention that it makes a great aphrodisiac?!!

Peanut butter can be spread on so many things: crackers, apple slices, carrots, chili peppers, fish filets, let your imagination run wild………oh……..and one of my personal favorites: chocolate…..Has anyone ever tried it with chocolate!!??

We are bound to have tons of fun in the kitchen, out by the grill, campsites, restaurants, at the drive in………any place where we might find something fun to consume………uh…….I mean eat!  Tune in next month for another fun edition of ‘Edible fun with Chef Toy-R-Cees’.  Until then, keep those cards and letters coming…..(and if you like my show, tell the producers to get me a real chef’s hat!!)
