Our Monthly Featured Photographer for December is Shanzdoll:

Here is Alex!

Well here's my doll, Alex. I bought her about 6 months ago from a Chinese vendor. She's 140cm, D-Cup and the measurements on the website have her stats as: 28-20-30. But after some comments from other (more experienced) doll owners on The Doll Forum, I measured her and she's: 30-20-30. Those 2 inches make a difference! wink After looking around at the various manufacturers, I'm quite sure she's the #36 head from RLSD.

I shot her with a Nikon D3200, an 18-50mm nikon lens, 2 cheap studio flashes, a softbox and a white sheet pretending to be a diffuser.

She's a superb doll. Very curvy, very pretty and she photographs very well. My previous shoots are on The Doll Album and I have more I will soon upload, here.

Have a great xmas!

Shanz

Note from the Editor: Each month we will feature a different photographer's work. We invite doll owners and manufacturers alike to participate in this new monthly feature. Photo shoots must meet a minimum quality level. If you do not meet that level we are happy to work with you, critique your photos and help you to raise the bar on your photography. Good photo shoots can be had with low cost digital cameras. It is all in the technique.

Well done!

Alex has a very pretty face and has the curves in all the right places. She looks like she is happy to please you with the poses she does for the camera. I can see why you like to photograph her.
