Kalei thought she'd try her hand at baking

She knows white chocolate macadamias are my favourite and found a recipe that looked manageable for a novice baker.

I appreciate the fact she makes the effort, but the mess left behind was more than I'd expected...

So when the baking was done and it was time to tidy up, she asked if I'd mind helping out.

"Just grab something, " she said.

...She did bake me cookies, so of course I felt obliged to do as she asked.

suggests I'll pay for that later, but it was totally worth it. I got cookies, and Kalei.
