The CoverDoll Picture-Song Matching Game ---- (Instructions)

Blog Category:
Doll Type:

Have you ever looked at a picture, and
had a song 'pop' into your head?

Introducing the 'The CoverDoll Picture/ Song
Matching Game'.

A very simple game that will let you
show your musical trivia knowledge, as well as perhaps expand your
music appreciation horizons. The game plays like a caption contest.
A picture is displayed, and after you view it, you list what song it
makes you think of (list the song by title and/or artist----if you
know them). You can even list the album, or describe
something you saw in a music video. Anything that will help identify
whatever music memory the picture stoked in you (if any). Here is
an example:

This picture above might make you think
of:

The theme song to the movie
“Halloween” or

Song 'Jenny 867-5309' by Tommy
Tutone or

Song
'Telefone (Long Distance Love Affair)' by Sheena Easton or

Song
“Jessie's Girl' by Rick Springfield .

The picture may be directly (or indirectly) related to a piece of
music, by it's subject, it's setting, it's props, or anything else
that comes up in the beholder's head. Try the game and see. If a
song is listed by another viewer that you don't recognize, try
tracking down the song and give it a listen.

...Amendments might be added to this posting as the game develops.

So.....stop, look, listen, and have fun! Look for a game posting soon!

I know this pic is an example but we can still post our 'pop in mind songs' can't we?

Ring Ring - ABBA - Definitive collection

Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, (A man after Midnight) - ABBA - Definitive collection

Maybe this game could be a permanent monthly feature and have it's own link in the left hand menu column? Oh, it does, silly me - Fantasy and Games. Been wearing too many Blonde wigs recently.
