Travelling with My Girls

Travelling with My Girls

I have found photographing my girls to be one of the great joys in life for me.

I mean, really, who wouldn't want to take photos of pretty ladies?

Doing a photoshoot at home is fun but I am limited with where to take the pics, so taking one of my girls out for a drive opens up a whole world of possibilities and also adds the fun of driving around with a pretty lady next to me.

I love to see the look of wonderment in their faces when arriving at places they have never been before.

And seeing things they have only heard about.

Enjoying the romantic city lights at night with her is very special.

There's nothing quite like getting outside and doing things you just can't do at home.

They feel so cool to be out and about.

But as a warning to you, NEVER EVER let her drive because you know the inevitable will happen!

I hope you get to go for a drive with your lady too.

You won't regret it!

Not sure I can trust your advice based on the last pic. I bet she doesn't even need to be behind the wheel for that to happen frown ... 're-thinking Doll Meet trip' surprise

great blog as always yes

Thanks swan

Luckily for me (and Ally) that last pic was just something MaDee whipped up in photoshop. It was the only time Ally tried to drive and when my other girls saw the pics we all had a vote and told Ally she should not try this again. I'm not totally convinced that she agrees.frown

Hi Dees Man, great pics, traveling with beautiful ladies is a lot of fun. We look forward for more pics from trips in the future, LEF & Chris

Thanks LEF and Chris

Each one of my girls have been so well behaved when I've taken them out. Even Ally. They provide polite conversation (sometimes cheeky) and generally enjoy themselves. They can sometimes be a little distracting for me to be looking at them rather than the roadsmiley

Ooh, I especially like the photo of the skyline at night... and the one on the log by the lake.

And as for the po-leece, I hear people really have to "fly low and slow" in most parts of Australia, is that right?

Thanks Zang

I drove to several spots to get that shot of Dee with the night lights. She looked so beautiful next to me. Getting what I was feeling into a photograph was harder than I expected.

You don't see many police at all driving DownUnder. However there are a lot of speed camerasangry and cameras don't take the time to listen to your excuses and let you off if you have a good story to tell and talk your way out of a ticketangel. Once you get away from the city and out on the open road there is fun to be had. There are parts of the Northern Territory that are so open they don't have speed limits at all, but that's a bit far from our house.

You're so right, taking the doll(s) outside the walls offers so much more possibilities and it's a great fun to have them aside while driving. Nothing's better as doing shoots in the real natural lighting conditions and there're plenty of places you can visit.

Outstanding blog as usual.

I enjoy taking my girls out not just to take photographs but also having them sitting next to me. One day I would like to fill all the seats in Mitsy and go for a drive. That would make for a GREAT day.yes

All seats filled -last month I drove from the UK to The Netherlands with four dolls in my car laugh

It was fun, except for the 2 hour delay at Eurotunnel, but that was not caused by dolls wink

The lady at the French border passport control seriously asked for Rebecca's passport yes
