All about Janie ... The Doll: Janie the 2nd! What can I say. WM hit this one out of the park. The 161G is still an amazing shape and with S-TPE and Gel Breasts it’s magical. She has a #436 head with ROS, and was a wonderful treat for photos. I plan on doing a lot more with her. The freckles and Body Painting were perfect. She is a true work of art. The Shoot: My remodeled master bedroom was the setting. Lighting was the ambient lights in the room. Nothing added. What you see is what I saw. The tree and my room lighting was pushing the limits of what I could push ISO on the older gear shooting handheld. Asking her to put on a bathrobe she just said “Why isn’t my blanket enough?” The Gear: I recently acquired a Nikon D3 which I’ve been going for more and more as my go to camera. Most were taken with that and my Nikon D810. Lenses were a mix of some older Nikkor AF lenses 85mm 1.8, 55mm 2.8, 35mm 2.8, 18-35 AF-D ED, and a 45mm 2.8 GN Ai converted Manual focus lens from the 1970s which I really love the focal length for bedroom shots. The B&W Shot was done with my iPhone 12 Pro. Editing was done with Corel Aftershot 3 Pro. Janie Winterwarbo

Note from the Editor: Each month we will feature a different photographer's work. We invite doll owners and manufacturers alike to participate in this new monthly feature. Photo shoots must meet a minimum quality level. If you do not meet that level we are happy to work with you, critique your photos and help you to raise the bar on your photography. Good photo shoots can be had with low cost digital cameras. It is all in the technique.
