Bikini Queens

King’s Day in The Netherlands, national holiday and party time! The Royal Family is visiting a town somewhere in our country –in a quite open and unique way. Many towns have free markets and festivals. Back in the days I often visited Amsterdam, on this day one big party zone.

Nowadays I like it more the easy way, not going to all those crowded places. I decided to stay at home and enjoy the day. The princesses here are wannabe queens –one of them still thinks she’s a Duchess but that’s another story. They all like to get attention and I’m sure they would like to go downtown to the park.

I suggested to do a photoshoot in our own little park, the backyard. Lissa and Michelle looked at each other and then at me: “fine, but we need to dress-up!” “Like queens”, I asked –they just giggled.

When they went outside into our garden they laughed at me and said: “We’re Bikini Queens!”
