Mishka's Studio -The Great Photo Studio part II

Last month I discussed some of the improvements to the studio, and I would like to carry on that discussion as to what I added since.

I purchased a High Speed Sync Outdoor Flash Strobe Light like the Godox in the picture below. This is something that will help low light and even high light situations like outdoor bright sun light scenes.

Now this is something I use for low light too, as it acts as a large and powerful flash unit that has the power to overpower the sun and you get those real nice blue sky and doll exposed correctly pics.

There are lots of tutorials on youtube so I will let you guys check those out and decide. Well for me, this is the next step that augments the studio lighting I use. One problem I had is the low or lower ambient lighting scenes that required a tripod and lights.  I needed this setup to get sharp focus shots without going to high ISO and low Fstop shots with too narrow DoF. Now I am able to shoot F16 with the strobe and get real nice focus.

I admit, I have not yet set it up as I just bought the unit, so I will get to that asap. But I hope the learning curve is not too high, but we'll see. I have to do so many pics lately, that these stobe lights will speed up photo sets.

Anyway, Xmas is around the corner, and I am about to get some pics of the gals in a bit.
