Foxx Fashion Blog August 2019: Hair Basics Part 2

Body:

Yo Bbz! Tashie here with Hair basics Part 2.  This month Ginabean is our model. GB has gorgeous hair so I asked her to help out.  But first, we have to get down to the real basics. Last month, we reviewed some styles, and before we get to “how to,”  we have to review the tools you will need.

If you have NOTHING else, you need a brush and a comb. This is a great, versatile set and inexpensive so don’t let your organic try to cheap out on you.

Wide tooth combs are essential for helping your hairstyle to look more natural.

Some of you may have unruly hair, that for whatever reason, has gotten very tangled. The best way to start fixing it is to use a Tangle Teezer. This are inexpensive too. If your sweetie complains, remind him or her its a lot cheaper than a new wig.  REMEMBER. Start ta the ends of your hair and work back toward your head.  I found out about Tangle Teezers from my BFF Chrissy back in 2015.

Here are some accessories that are pretty basic but very vesatile.  Clockwise from the top:

2 French combs; barrette, hair bands;  alligator clip; barrette, duck bill clip, alligator clip.

You ready Bbz? Let’s look at longer hair styles first.  Here is GB just chilling with her gorgeous mane all nice and brushed.  This is pretty much were you start any style

Next you just gather the hair and make a pony tail by using a hairband.  You’ll need to double and maybe triple it depending on how much hair you have.

Now we're going to braid Gina's hair. Start by separating the hair into 3 sections and then start crossing/weaving them like this:

You will get a nice braid going, we used a duck bill clip to show you the start, but just keep going, you are on a roll!

As you can see we tied it off with a hairband. EASY AS PIE!

Now let's go back to the start and put Gina’s hair up with a duck bill clip again. Just take the hair and flip it up.

Then kind of folding it in on itself, gab an alligator clip. You are done in like a minute. Gator clips are great of you are in a hurry and just have to put your hair up for a short time. Just remember you have a bulky clip behind your skull. It doesn’t feel too good against a pillow, headrest or seat back.  Just sayin…. You can also clip it with a barrette, but that takes a smigde longer, maybe a minute or two.

From the front, you can see 2 different styles of tendrils.  They are VERY stylish and easy. Just leave out a little hair on each side in for of your ears! Boom.  You can also see Beansie's pokies. They get like that when ever TJ touches her.

Gina: YO!  WTF!  I can’t help it, BISH!

Look Flooze, just sit there, look pretty and keep your vajacuum in neutral for a few more minutes, m’KAY?

Gina: *laughs, snorts, iced coffee shoots out her nose*   OMFG I hate you!!!!! BAHAHAHA!

Now, where were we?  OH!  Medium length styles!

So once again- up with the duckbill clip…

We used the smaller gator clip that has handles that fold in on it self so you can bury it in your hair like this:

Now we can look at the French combs. They have the same result as a gator clip or barrette but are flat like a barrette and easier on the back of your head if you rest it on anything.  Start by taking the French comb and sliding it in through the hair in either direction.  We used a duck clip to keep her hair still.

Then remove the clip if you used one, turn the teeth of the clip toward you, sort of pivoting it and folding back with the hair so it is facing in the opposite direction, and slide in through hair on the other side. The result should look like this:

Here is what GB looks like with medium length tendrils.  She’s such a hottie, eh?

You can always check You Tube for video lessons on these styles. We can dicuss that during the month in Dolls Alive... Until then.. LOVE YOU and thanks for checking  out the blog again this month.
