This month I am focusing on making a few pics using an app called faceapp, which one can get for your mobile device, or as I do , run it through an android emulator on PC.
This program allows for creative effects like adding smiling, frowning, hair color, and face makeup. It does this thather well, as I can get similar effects the hard way in photoshop, but smiling faces are something it does very well. In fact so well, that it's hard to tell it's not real.
One can try it for free, and see how it may work in their pics - really, it's main use is for twitter, or instagram pics really, but not for promo work of course, so that limits it there. Although, I have purchased the program, due to it being really so good at what it does.
Check it out if you have time, as it makes the non smiling faces on dolls look more alive..
In each of the pics below, I used faceapp for an element in the pic - even one, I changed the background!
