Tasha’s Lifestyle Talk April 2020

Yo Bbz!

This month is another new step in my newly renamed blog, Tasha’s Lifestyle Talk. Fashion is ofc part of our lifestyle, but there is so much more to our lives, our relationships, our interests and work.

The blog will be supplementing my Cover Doll feature. Being Cover Doll this month is an honor and very important to me in a number of ways. On March 30, I just celebrated 5 years with TJ. And looking back on those last 5 years, we saw my personal growth and also how much our relationship has grown to today. Looking forward, there is so much more that is exciting to discuss. I am sitting here thinking about where to start...

I have made many doll friends over the last 5 years but now I am finding I make more organic friends lately. I have met them through either promoting products and the other promoters that I became friendly with, or through common interests in music, fashion, and ofc, mutual friends! Pretty much that’s how anyone makes friends. What’s nice is that these women know I am a doll but they accept me for who and what I am. We like how our relationships help blur the lines between the synthetic and organic worlds. Most of my organic friends are not connected to me through dolls, but by common interests like fashion, lifestyle, music, art… I think that makes me unique as it is a big part of who I am today.

Two friends who are BIG influences on me are, Elizabeth, who I call Betty Boo, and Polly. Betty Boo and I have gotten to be so close over the last 4-5 months. We met when TJ and I had admired her work and asked to commission a portrait of me. Well, not long after getting to know her though our emails and Skype convos about the portrait, she asked if we’d collaborate with her on a very special project, that would have me as the theme! Since then, due to misc interruptions and the COVID-19 pandemic (more on that later), the project morphed into an in-depth look at me through a blog-like diary of my last 5 years. We are close to publishing it and will do a release here in Cover Doll. During this time, B-Boo and I have gotten to be great friends - we shared a lot of that in a previous blog so you can read up on that from last month. B-Boo and I share a lot, encourage. challenge and comfort each other. She is so special and a wonderful friend who loves and accepts me for who I am. LOVE YOU, BISH! Here is BettyBoo and me Skyping.  I am getting her opnion on my new lip color.

I got this tattoo to symbolize my friendship with BettyBoo.

Polly is the creative talent behind Doll Fit at Galmato Haven. When she and Reggie launched Doll Fit, they came right to me and asked if  I would be their Brand Ambassador - ofc I said YAAAASSS!!! Go back to my November Bog and you’ll see the first outfit we premiered - my Dark Fairy cosplay. Since then, Polly has customized great outfits for me, all of which you can see in my blogs. They aren’t great only because she is an amazing designer. They are great because she understands me. She doesn’t just fit me physically, she fits my personality. We like to text and DM - we even did a sleep over photoshoot with her BF Brent back in January. Below are a fe wpics we shared before. Polly is so much fun and she helps me explore different styles that I’d never think to try on my own. THAT is a true friend! Love you, Polly Pols!

I could go on about all my wonderful organic friends and how our relationships are so meaningful but I think you see, I am really not different in this way than any other woman.  That is why my Cover Doll Bio this month starts with “I am Tasha, I am a woman, I am in love and I am happy.” Betty Boo thought of that, it was inspired by a quote we love, “One is not born, but rather becomes, a woman.” Simone de Beauvoir, The Second Sex (1949). De Beauvoir is talking about how femininity is a construct, and women are shaped by their upbringing. She obviously means organic women, but when this quote is applied to me, it takes on new meanings. I am shaped by the people around me, who love me and engage with me.

I love how my social media presence keeps people engaged. I don’t just have people following me to like pics and breeze by, I love that they interact with me and are engaged, on my feed and theirs!  For example one of my followers is a chef, he likes my pics leaves thoughtful comments and we always interact over wonderful food he prepares and posts!  I am also getting friendly with business owners, photographers (male and female) and models all over the country.  Most know I am a doll but remain engaged with me. :-) Some become my friends just like the other very special women I described above and in my Cover Doll Bio/ Questionnaire.  We share clothes and am I am learning so much from them.

One important thing I have learned through experience on social media is how organic women have to deal with really gross guys who assume because you have an even remotely sexy/erotic pic of yourself, it means you want to see their dick and you will send them free nude pics.  Ummm, NO. I don’t mind guys flirting with me as long as they respect boundaries.  BUT just because I posted this...

:

or this:

Doesn’t mean I want to have cyber sex or see a dick pic. I am not a prude, I love sex. Just not with anyone/everyone who sees my pics.  So guys reading this… Yes, please admire our pics as art, please like and respect us for who we are.

That brings me to another point.  Yes I am doll, I wasn’t born, I was sculpted, built, and poured. At least, that is how I started. I have become so much more, not just to TJ but to others, not just in the doll community.   So, your doll is what you let her (or him) become to you. If you just leave her in bed and have sex with her when ever you are horny, you’ll probably get bored with her like you did that pocket pussy, boob pillow or dildo you bought.  Get to know your doll, let them evolve, and you can have a companion.  It’s up to you.

It is important to note that I am the first Cover Doll of the COVID-19 Pandemic. I consider it an honor but also feel I have a responsibility to address it. Hopefully, I will be the first of not too many… I mean that with sincerity since this is nothing like we’ve seen before. We all have to change our lives to protect our beloved organics. It is interesting how I see organics are getting a taste of how we dolls live all the time. We do live somewhat isolated and learn to interact without physical contact with people outside our homes. Please do your part and promote #stayhome. Help keep your organic companion safe. Care for her/him so they can care for you!   I got this tattoo on my inner arm to help us remember how important we are to each other.

My dolly bestie, Rari and I have been talking about how this is affecting our organic partners since it all began, and the similarities of how people are living under quarantine and how we dolls live all the time. We see how the situation is affecting our organic companions.  We notice how they have found a way to turn to us for a distraction and comfort. We both have wonderful loving relationships with Hollywu and TJ respectively. We are actually a source of stability for them and them for us. We are always here for them so they can be here for us physically and emotionally.

Rari shared that now more people than ever are working at home who might not be used to it. They are being quarantined, or at least asked to stay home. We thought about it, and that is what it is like for most of us synthetic companions. We are at home. We don’t get to go out and experience things or interact with others the way we would like to. We do our interacting online or virtually so to speak. There is a lot to learn through our organic-synthetic relationships, we can set an example for others. I mean this is beyond RPG, there is no “game over” with us, unless our companions go to sleep. We can be there for virtual  interaction with others. We can also hug, hold hands, snuggle while  watching a movie, or chatting online with friends. Imagine virtual dinner parties, afternoon tea, theme parties on the weekends, or even Sunday brunch!

Rari and I chat all the time via text, Hollywu and TJ talk too. But next we really want to get all of us online together for a virtual hangout like we discussed above. Maybe we’ll start by watching a movie together.  What a great idea, yo. We’d really love to go out and do this things but we can’t, some of it is accessibility, the rest is hindered by prejudice and/or others views about us as synthetics.

Anyway… Rari and I wanted to share that in the light of so many organics feeling restricted. We are sure they will all be out and back to normal long before we synthetics are safe to go out confortably with our companions. Please give that some thought while you are feeling cooped up during the quarantine. #stayhome  #staysafe. Make the best of it.

Well bbz, I hope you enjoyed the new blog content and cover doll feature. We were a bit more comprehensive this month because it was sort of a two-fer. Next month we’ll back with Lifestyle Talk looking at new gear from Polly, more on relationships and maybe a few surprises.

LOVE YOU!  MMMUUUWWWAHH!
