Hello and welcome to Doll New's Monthly.
So WM Doll has been around for quite a long time now..
Most people in the doll world know of or own or have owned one or more WM Dolls over the years.
WMs body sculpts are some of the best in the industry and have produced some of the most iconic body shapes that we have come to love.
New advancements have come over the years such as Gel parts , Articulated bone structures in the hands , Improved EVO Skeletons, body details , Vibration and sexy talking moduals and now even advanced AI chat based companion technology..
But for a very long time WM was only just a TPE Based Material doll manufacture..
They now have sub lines of Silicone based dolls and have even improved there TPE materials with a newer TPE type called STPE.
Now I have been interested to find out what STPE Is and why STPE might be better for future buyers and I figured no better company to ask then WM Doll..
So I reached out to them and asked them if they could explain to us what is STPE and why might it be a better option for future doll buyers and this is what they said.
**Introducing WMDOLLS: Pioneers in STPE Technology**
Introducing the exceptional features of Jin San's STPE Dolls:
1. **Superior Material Quality**: Jin San's STPE dolls are crafted from a unique material that offers a realistic and durable experience. STPE, or Silane-Terminated Polyether, is known for its resilience and low oil emission, providing a dry and pleasant touch that lasts over time.
2. **Enhanced Flexibility and Elasticity**: STPE dolls exhibit remarkable flexibility and elasticity. They can withstand significant pressure without deformation, as demonstrated by tests where a 15kg weight was placed on the doll's buttocks for three days without causing any permanent shape change.
3. **Exceptional Tear Resistance**: One of the standout features of STPE is its incredible resistance to tearing. It is eight times more resistant to tears in the joint areas compared to traditional TPE materials, ensuring longevity and durability.
4. **Realistic Appearance**: STPE dolls rival silicone in terms of realism. Unlike the slightly translucent appearance of traditional TPE, STPE has a solid, lifelike look. Enhanced by body painting techniques previously used only for silicone bodies, STPE achieves an impressive level of hyper-realism.
5. **Low Oiliness**: Addressing a common issue with porous materials like TPE, STPE produces less oiliness, resulting in a more enjoyable texture that maintains its quality over time.
6. **Seamless Design**: Unlike silicone bodies, STPE dolls do not have visible mold seams, offering a smoother, more uniform appearance that enhances their lifelike quality.
7. **Easy to Repair**: Repairing STPE material is as simple as repairing regular TPE, and its recyclability marks a significant step towards responsible manufacturing.
8. **Advanced Artificial Intelligence**: Some models come with an AI module embedded in the head, capable of responding to voice commands and accessing information online. With continuous software updates, these dolls can even assist with smart home functions, providing a cutting-edge integration with modern technology.
9. **Customizability**: Jin San offers a range of customization options, including different head sculptures, bodies, and genitalia, allowing for a personalized experience. Some dolls can even be customized with hair, skin color, and features like standing ability and heating functions.
10. **Privacy and Fast Response**: Jin San prioritizes customer privacy, with discreet packaging and efficient customer service that ensures responses quickly and production turnaround.

Ok so thats quite a bit of information ..
It seems that STPE is less oily and more stretchy then TPE.
I own one of WMs new STPE dolls and I can say the material feels a lot more smoother and silky feeling to the touch.
I am not sure why painted on details where not able to be done well on older TPE but I can say that yes for sure the new STPE allows them to paint on details like viens and skin details.
This was a nice surprise and its quite noticeable .
Here are a few photos of the older WM TPE body parts side by side with there newer STPE models..
So as you can see there is quite a bit of a change between the two..
The newer STPE models are more pleasing and realstic looking..
Again I know for a fact there new STPE bodies are very smooth and silky feeling to the touch.
So the end thoughs on this might be more about "Time Will Tell" kind of thing then anything..
We simply need more time to really know how much better the new STPE last and performs over the older TPE models..
Many people are buying the newer STPE models so we should start to hear more and more about there experiences with the newer material.
But on a closing note..
I am again very pleased with the advancements in the doll world and any type of newer materials being worked on is always a bonus if there is a chance of improving the life span and durablity of our dolls.
Tell me below how you feel about this..
