It's already almost middle of October, and that means travelling less and spending more time at home with my Gynoid doll this time, a model 11 (Ms.Mei)
For this photo set, I decided to film outdoors again later in the day, and decided to use a wet-T-shirt idea that worked before in previous photos.
I did have a friend photographer come over, and he helped with the lighting and some suggestions on exposure. We filmed Ms. Mei under my shaded pergola and with a partial shade from the late day sun, and a water bottle to create the wet look.
I did have a person help with blocking the late day sun, but that was also rectified by moving her to a different location, where sun spots were less problematic.
My Sony rIV and his Canon camera was mounted on a ball-tripod so the image quality was more controlled. My Sony camera was tethered wirelessly via wifi to an Ipad.
We used a 60W Godox backlight and another warm light aimed at Ms. Mei to give her a golden tone - all from the continuous lights aimed at her and that helped illuminate her face better.
Outdoor doll photos are a great way to explore nature and doll beauty, and trying to achieve a good result takes considerable time and patience.
Anyway, enjoy the photos!
