Hello and welcome to Doll News Monthly.
So it is probably no surprise that some of my more favorite dolls that I own are FunWest dolls.
Their unique looking heads and faces make the FunWest dolls stand out in a crowd of other brands.
Their stride forward in the doll technology over the years has been steady and solid.
I would say their newer dolls are up there quite high on my list of most impressive dolls that I own.
Recent additions such as there high realism skin textures and softer feeling bodies have greatly improved how these dolls look and feel.
Some of the features that not only FunWest have added over the years are more visual or immersive type of improvements and additions.
Today we are going to talk about one of those type of features that FunWest is adding into some of their newer dolls.
This feature is their new Articulated toes..
Now articulated feet and toes is nothing new in the doll world and other brands have been doing their own versions of these feet for a while now.
This feature may not be a huge game changer for some people but for those that might have foot fetish or enjoy doing photos of their dolls this new feature can improve the dolls realism.
So I asked FunWest about there new feet and this is what they said.

1. More Realistic Foot Appearance
Each toe can be gently bent into a natural position instead of being stiff.
Creates a more lifelike look in barefoot photography or close-up shots.
2. Improved Pose Variety
Toes can curl, extend, or spread slightly, making foot and leg poses more expressive.
Works especially well for artistic or sensual photography.
3. Better Stability in Posing
Wired toes can help adjust balance when the doll is barefoot (though standing feet bolts still provide the most stability).
Allows subtle adjustments when posing on soft surfaces like bedding or cushions.
4. Enhanced Realism in Touch
Toes with internal wires feel more natural when handled, compared to completely boneless toes.
So as you can see they agree with me that this is a feature that improves realism and feel of their dolls feet.
Again some people may not find this feature very useful to them and some people will love it.
This is the great thing about today's dolls is the sheer amounts of options that are available ...

Personally I think any new features that are added and or improved on is a bonus for future buyers or collectors.
I think FunWest is a great company full of fantastic friendly people that care about their products and work to create newer and more enjoyable dolls for there customers.
I am always excited to see new features on all brands of dolls and I am very interested to see how the newer foot system works out for FunWest and future revisions over the years of these types of features..
