So last month we talked about FunWest and there new foot skeletons and right after doing that article I was contacted once again by FunWest with information about a whole new hand skeleton remake..
It amazes me at how fast the market is growing and how fast innovation is making the newer models better and better for thousands of dolls being made today from many different brands..
We are in a time where buying a new doll is very exciting as most of the top brands now offer some of the best and top tier features and innovations available..

So lets talk some about there new hand skeleton structure .
I once again asked the company what is different and what has been improved and what can future buyers expect with the newer hand skeletons and this is what FunWest said..
Ultra-Flex Fingers – officially available.
This upgrade focuses entirely on making hands look and move more naturally.
What we improved:
Fingers can now bend backward beyond the palm – poses like resting the hand under the chin or casually on the hip finally look right
Redesigned thumb joint – fists close properly, OK sign stays round, peace sign and thumbs-up hold their shape without collapsing
Smoother, more controlled movement when posing – no stiff steps, much closer to real hand feel
Reinforced structure and materials – once you set a pose, it stays put long-term
Option overview:
• Normal fingers → basic bendable wire
• Palm & wrist joint → adds wrist movement
• Articulated fingers → segmented joints for realistic look
• Ultra-Flex Fingers → all of the above + backward bend + full thumb range (our most advanced hand yet)

So what do I think about these new improvements?
Well as I have said before in other articles lots of these features are really not anything new that has not been done before..
But instead newer ideas and innovative versions of these features..
FunWest simply waited and watched other brands to see what failed and fix there issues and learn before adding these features into there dolls..
It is probably a smart move and we can only hope these new features are as durable as they function and its great to see the newer features like this being offered by FunWest.
I have always said I really like and enjoy the FunWest line of dolls and to see there brand improving at such a great rate is good news for future buyers and those that are fans of the brand ..
Again any improvements like this only add to the realism and usability of these great dolls.
