February - and 'Seduction'.

Dear Readers,

Someone once very kindly said in a post that Natasha was "The Dictionary definition of Seductive". We have to say we are in agreement - but then we are totally biased. 

Actually Seduction is from the latin 'Ducere' (to lead) + 'Se' (away) - and meaning 'to persuade to do something other than one normally would' or 'to entice sexual activity' (sounds like two opposite meanings).

Nature provides the multitude of species with a great variety of seduction techniques. Sometimes the male is the seducer with bright colours, exotic dances and movements or a show of strength, etc and sometimes the female, as is the case with humans. In nearly all instances however, regardless of which is the seducer, the male is the seeker and the female the selector. Some cultures go against nature by force - as with hiding females behind veils & arranging marriages against free will   - we will say no more about that.

It is not clear to us how Homo Australopithecines or Neanderthals seduced but modern women definitely know how, together with the aid of common consumer products.

Shampoo and Make Up, for long glowing clean hair (*see note at end), fine bronze skin tone, rosy cheeks, flaw reduction and eye accentuation - all saying "I am Fit & Healthy".

Lipstick, mimicking a natural blush to the lips during sex - saying "I am aroused".

Clothes, revealing  or complimenting the female form (studies have shown that women close to ovulation during a night out clubbing or on the lookout wear less and reveal more) - saying "Look at me, I have the body, breasts and hips for child bearing & raising".

Perfume to send the scent to attract potential seekers & arouse them - saying "I am here if you want to try". Experienced seducers often put a dab of their 'own sweet juice' on the inside of their wrist or neck to add that little extra natural pheromone perfume.

Shoes and Stockings, to fine up the calves & tone the texture of the legs, - again saying health but also "wouldn't you just love to get between these".

We surmise Firm Flat Tummies are so appealing because they clearly show, apart from 'trim, taught and terrific', that "I am not carrying another man's child"?

It may sound a bit like like a prostitute getting ready for a night of business. I guess the process is the same - To Seduce.

Anyway contrast that to a woman not hell bent on seduction, say a housewife with family, where more often than not 'dressing down' as opposed to 'dressing up' is the norm and saying  "to old, to tired or not interested", except perhaps for special occasions to please ones partner or oneself to say "Yeah i've still got it".

But Dolls always look good and seductive. Don't we?

Note: While many modern women today have short hair the statement about long hair is consistent with seduction. It was common practise to cut a woman's hair as a punishment and insult to her. It is often the case that a woman will cut their hair after an emotional break up with a partner (example Gwenyth Paltrow in the movie 'Sliding Doors') or once she has selected and captured her partner. The covering of hair by repressive cultures specifically to prevent female seduction. All saying in some way or another "not available". And also the great majority of 'Playmates', 'Penthouse Pets', etc  have long, flowing, hair seducing one in the pages of magazines.
