The tubes in the picture are non-collapsible plastic tubes. The purple one was from
a Popsicle and the other yellow tube was from one of my sons toys.
They were inserted into the openings to help align everything and also to prevent the
silicone adhesive from completely closing both entries. For the first step with the plastic tubes, I used the harder silicone adhesive from the Abyss repair kit, for extra strength. Once cured after 24 hours, I covered the remaining imperfections with the softer colored silicone.
