All Dolled Up - A word from the Producer/Director

This is a promo video that I did for the London media firm who was doing the interviews on me last winter.  It was supposed to be just for promotional purposes but some of it aired on German TV.  I did get paid for it though ;)

Now that my contract has expired with the Media firm I am at liberty to share it.

Hope you enjoy.  It will probably go live on YouTube before the end of the year.

P.S. I did not get run out of town ;)

Wonder if we will see it on TV as a documentary. Like a follow up to the 'Guys and Dolls' one, which is how we discovered the community in the first place all those years ago.

And a mini documentary in its own right.  Way to get the doll world's foot in the door -- in Europe, at least.  Who knows when All Dolled Up will wind its way to the U.S.  Eventually, I hope.

I've been looking at photos of Minneapolis city life in the early 1900's.  (My grandmother was there, and she kept a diary, and I'm typing it up for the family.)  Everyone dressed formally when they went downtown or to the University library.  The men wore suits and ties everywhere.  That's right, if you just went to the library, you did so in a suit and tie.  The freedoms that we have (witness the SEXTOYS ad at the bottom of this page) were unthinkable then.  Midi, you're continuing to move the mountain, one shovelful at a time.  It remains to be seen whether the part you're working on can be moved in our lifetimes.
