Presenting a Classic V-Babe: The Valkyrie Returns

She flies from the gates of Asgard and descends to a misty battlefield covered with the fallen. The living don't see her, only the dead, and not all these are worthy to receive her gift. She sees one man, lying dead among a legion of his enemies, his soul flickering brightly like ghostly flame over his ravaged corpse. The Valkyrie lands before him and wordlessly beckons. The man knows why she is here and kneels before her. The Valkyrie holds her arms aloft and spreads her wings. The mist thickens around the pair and they ascend to the heavens, arm in arm, to Asgard. Are you worthy to answer her call?
