June - and ... No More - It's the Law!

It seems the power of Sex over our lives and the gay abandon or expressive ways we have for engaging in it has led some to think that the only way to control our wanton lust is through Legislation. So before you plan on having a bit of fun, maybe you should check out the local laws, ordinances and statutes or you might find yourself in trouble with the Law.

Feeling 'Frisky'? Fancy a bit of 'Relief'? Can't be bothered to go out and find a willing partner? In Michigan you risk a prison term if you decide to masturbate in private.

It is illegal ..............

In Washington, to have sex with a virgin under any circumstances, even on the wedding night. And the only legal way to have sex is in the missionary (face to face) position.

In Florida, to have sex with a Porcupine - and so also is fellatio, cunnilingus, anal sex and dildo use ...... as it is in Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Washington DC and San Francisco. In Utah, to have sex in an Ambulance.

In Wyoming, to have sex in a Meat Freezer.

In Nebraska, to sleep naked with another person.

In Pennsylvania to have sex in a Toll Booth.

In North Carolina & South Dakota to make love on the floor between beds in Motels.

In Alabama to have sex in a car with flat tyres. The penalty is more severe if the offence is taking place in the back seat.

In Colorado, to make love to ones wife while bathing in Lakes, Rivers or Streams, or in Illinois, while Hunting and Fishing.

In Indiana and Ohio, for a male skating instructor to have carnal knowledge with their female students.

There are so many more - see link below - but you get the drift. The wording of this next one is just plain fun; In Ashland, Kentucky "No person shall knowingly keep or harbour at his house or her house within the city any woman of ill-repute, lewd character or a prostitute other than wife, mother or sister".

While America ('the land of the free') has more laws governing sexual behaviour than anywhere else, just so you don't think we are picking on them here are some others. It is Forbidden:

In Peru, to have sex with an Alpaca and unmarried men cannot even have them living in their house.

In Guam, to marry a virgin - girls have to pay professional 'deflowerers' to do the job.

In Estonia, to play chess in bed while making love.

In Budapest, to have sex in any lit room.

In Riga to quarrel while engaging in sex.

And in some parts of East Africa a man carrying a woman on his bike is deemed guilty of adultery. However, if a man finds another man having sex with his wife this is not sufficient proof. To prove adultery the wronged man would need other witnesses too.

Note: In 2003 the United States Supreme Court struck down sodomy laws (which include oral sex) nationwide, however, many aspects remain as part of local Statutes. In many of the examples given I have indicated the State but omitted the relevant Town or County for the sake of brevity.

Reading between the lines it can be surmised how some of the laws came into being, crazy as they may be, but whatever happened to common sense - Tragedy? Comedy? or both. Will dolls be next on the hit list?
