This month's Featured Photographer segment ALMOST didn't happen! However, Orbital111 has graciously offered these shots of his Private Island Beauty Josephine (and her little friend) to help us complete this issue. Enjoy!
About the Photographer
Orbital's camera is a Cannon G15 with a tripod. As far as lighting, he either uses the daylight bulbs that are attached to the ceiling, or natural light through the window. For the setting, it would most likely be indoors, and he will need to think about what props and situations might work out. The original plan was to go with the shoot that he did this weekend or expand on it.
Orbital's interest in photography was sparked when he noticed the realism many photographers on TDF aim to achieve with their dolls. When he was younger he studied art/painting. So, composition isn't completely new to him.
Lighting, on the other hand, is something he is trying to come to grips with. The camera is new and he has been experimenting with the way exposure, aperture and ISO level affect one another towards image quality. He's mostly getting it down but he won't be offended if something were turned down... he would just keep practicing.

What a beautiful doll and what a great outfit. I love this outfit on your doll. The skirt and top fit her perfectly and that belt really ties the look together. Get her some nude Nine West stilleto pumps and she would be ready to hit the town. I really like this wig on her too. The color is very complimentary.
