A dull day

It was the
first of September, when I did this shoot. Summer had ended. Lily and Sacha
were sitting with me in the living room. It was a dull day. But when I
mentioned this, they heard me say “a doll day” a day for a photo shoot. It was
cold outside and Sacha decided the shoot would take place in our bay window.
Lily was still tired from the night before. The girls had been partying until
the early morning. No sleep, still wearing their party dresses Sacha still had
the energy to prepare for a shoot, Lily just wanted to lay down.

I took the
opportunity to do an experiment. I set the camera to RAW and used Photoshop for
a few adjustments. For some pictures it was difficult to get the colour
temperature and all the other settings right, but in the end it’s not that bad. I guess I’ll continue to
use the RAW format.

Back to the
shoot, well, doing a shoot with these two dolls you probably know how it ends.
Lily and Sacha love to please each other. A few days after the shoot they
helped me to select the photos for the CoverDoll gallery. But after that, I
selected two bonus pictures. One that shows Sacha’s lovely butt (you have to go
to the gallery to see that one) and one with the girls kissing

After my
August blog, also featuring Lily and Sacha, uncreative replied: “If I have one
complaint about this set it is that there were so many teases where your girls
were about to kiss, that it would have been nice to have seen that in the last
shot.” As uncreative also mentioned, it’s quite difficult to get these dolls in
a kissing position, lips against each other. But this time it’s the last shot
