August is here, and it's a hot month here as I'm featuring Heather in her outdoor photoshoot.
In this set, I filmed her outdoors under bright sun, but with shade provided by a palm overhanging behing her. I also used a combinations of a Godox speedlight and a continuous LED light which was set to a warm color to give her a more natural skin color. This set really came out rather well, and I was happy at the outcome. I did not do many poses as I focused more on a few good poses that show off her body well.
Any bright areas on her skin were knocked down by using a tall umbrella and that helped by reducing any bright spots on her skin - the few bright areas were well within the camera's linear color range.
The Godox was used mostly to illuminate areas where too much shade fell on her, and this would be her red outfit. Without the light, that area would be very high in contrast, and be too dark.
I also shot much of the set using a 85mm Sigma art lens - set to around f1.8-2.0 and that provided the bokeh I strive for.
