Most Peculiar No. 1

We have been trying to change our Avatar in Safari browser. It kept closing when going to account > edit.

And when reopened the old avatar was still there.

So we moved to Firefox and found the new avatar had appeared there.

This is typed in Firefox.

Now it is just plain weird.

In Safari the old avatar appears. In Firefox the new Avatar appears.

WTF

Any ideas CD team. PS: sorry to be a bore. Had to make post otherwise we could not see what was happening. We use Safari for pref. Moderators can delete all these posts when sorted.

Hi girls, :D

Don't worry about the name showing twic. This is due to using two browsers and as such two cookies stored on the CD site. when the site refreshes one will go.

Hi Tash & Nony, :)

Well girls the new avatar shows in my IE7 browser okay and I Firefox, can’t ay on Safari as I don’t have a Mac. My thoughts are that it might just be a cache problem on either the PC (Mac) or at the CD site.

Try clearing your Safari browser and refreshing and see what happens. I want the site to work in all browsers, but I guess there will always be issues. ;)

Anyway I will do you a blogger avatar as I suggested in my PM to you, so let me know on that? I will then upload it myself to your account and see if that works differently.

I can delete the post if you want, but I think these things are often best kept to show others that problems do happen and if a godd fix is forund it can be posted here. After all there might be a safari surfer that has the answer.

But if you want it go then, just pop me a PM and it will be done my friend ;)
