Dear Readers,

Добрый вечер (dobriy v'echir - Good evening).  Easter comes.

I bring souvenirs from old country to show the girls. Nony has gone to hospital for overdue operatin. Her cousin Annette (Nete) visits us. I think she stays long time.

I born in Vladivostok but spent much time in Ukraine.

In photo is;

Handmade and embroidered tablecloth and place mats in traditional pattern.

Traditional style wood candlestick.

Old (over 100 years) Samovar for coffee (spirits to heat).

Painted eggs in traditional style.

Individual roasting pot for meat and vegetables - Жаркое (Zharkoye) - my favourite.

And of course Vodka. Sorry the label not in focus but it genuine from Russia.

When I was leaving Ukraine my Aunt gave me a very old brass Samovar, again over 100 years. It heated with small pieces of wood in centre tube. The Authorities took from me at depart airport. It would cost more than US $300.00 for American tourist. It is "Departure Tax" for their pocket (corruption). Maybe things have changed now. It is 10 years ago.

I tell more stories another time.

Hello my little Russian beauty. I’m glad your not a 100 years old LOL. I think your English is very good and I know I couldn’t speak Russian as well as you speak English. :)

I hope your enjoying your visit down under in the Land of Oz; hey did you notice that the water goes down the plug hole in the other direction LOL?

Now don’t you get those girls too drunk on that strong Russian vodka, but if you do, don’t forget to take photos ;)

I've had to ban Zara from the computer as she's been getting nasty.  I've recently got a new batch of soft silicone 2-part and I've been doing a series of scar revisions.  It's going very well but it makes her cranky. 

Anyway. Great dinner party photos!  The girls are fantastic as usual and Lubov is something special.  She always seems to show an air of quiet dignity, as well as those amazing legs.  Ouch!  Just got smacked on the back of the head.  Did I mention cranky?
