This month in august I am featuring a Zelex girl I got a while back. She is an all silicone head with implanted purple hair and custom makeup. For this set, I managed to get a handful of photos right before dark at a time we call the golden hour. The golden tones of her skin are a direct result of the angle of the sun and additionally, a gold reflector angled off to the side. A single Godox strobe was used to shine light onto the reflector and onto her skin.
June was an exciting time as I hosted a doll enthusiasts meet-up. I have a home that features a large tropical garden and many cool areas to pose your doll - as well as many dolls on display. In fact for this event, we had over 30 dolls in all posed around the home. There were quite a few people attending this year, and we did have to turn several people away due to limited space. Hosting these is quite a challenge as you spend more time making sure everyone is doing well, fed, and happy.
