Elle in the Navy?
We are thinking a British Naval movie, based on the dress and costumes. Early 19th century most likely.
How about 'Master and Commander' starring Russel Crowe? Only one which springs to mind at the moment.
The TV series Hornblower was good with Ioan Gruffudd. Highly recommended.

Your first idea was the good one ! That's a great movie and a recent movie, so maybe the reason why it is the first to spring to mind when thinking that period of the Navy :)
They were watching a surgery : filling in the skull of a seaman with a peace of metal :O

Just that after 10 games, i am not still able to set up the difficulty of the pic for all. My only reference is myself and frankly i think i would have guessed ZERO movie since the beginning 8)
