Once when I meet Matt he said to me “I putting as much money as I can into R & D – future Realdolls will be simply amazing!”

At Abyss Creations is an amazing woman who has what must be the most challenging job in the world – public relations. I must say that she does her job very well. Her name is Shelly and I had a chance to ask her some questions for this article:

Shelly:

“Firstly, and to me, most importantly, we have been working for over a year and a half on a completely new skeleton for the silicone Realdolls.

We have invested a considerable amount of time and money into this and are very pleased to announce that most of the new parts are already in production on current dolls. The new joints only use ONE nut/bolt assembly, and this nut can NOT loosen, ever.

The articulation in the joint is achieved without a nut or bolt, so the friction in the joints will remain constant for the life of the doll. Trust me when I tell you that this was no easy feat. The new joints are constructed from stainless steel and injection molded glass filled ABS plastic.

The R&D that had gone into this new skeleton surpasses any past improvements Abyss has ever made. Additional changes also include a fully articulated mini spine in the back and neck of the doll, new injection molded finger tips that won't come off that will largely eliminate current issues with wires poking out of the fingers and a drastically improved foot plate with a hard silicone protective coating to prevent foot damage.
