Doll News Monthly (July 2024 Issue)

Body:

Hello and welcome to Doll News Monthly.

So in this months article we will talk a bit about some interesting new technology that I came across..

As you know since the start of doll creation we have always been hindered by a few drawbacks that these dolls have..
There basic and lack of complexity in the construction of these dolls over the years has always been an ongoing battle with issues and
durability.
The skeletons where made of basic friction based joints (Still are in many brands)..
Materials used where the same for many years and we are slowly starting to see innovations in new mixtures of both Silicone and TPE based products..

So over the years I am sure you have seen many horror stories of dolls finger skeletons poking out of there fingers and or there wire based contruction breaking or poking out of the fingers as well.
Recently I saw this brand mention they was working on new innovated articulated hands but not just the fact the hands where amazing and contained really great bone structures and posed like real human hands but also innovations that pretty much remove all of the fears of finger damage and pokes..
Now this sounds pretty hard to believe yes?
Well today we read about a company that has created a game changing articulated hand structure and newer more durable silicone mixture that in combination may be one of the best articulated hands on the market..
Lets find out..

So to find out more about these new innovative hands I reached out to XT-Doll the creators of this new hand structure and asked them if they would be interested in sharing some information with me to post here for those that might be interested in this new technology ..
This was one of there responses..

XTDOLL is committed to innovation, and the significance of innovation lies in solving more substantial problems
encountered by most customers.
Puncture-resistant fingers are one of them. In fact, we have been paying attention to this issue for a long time,
Whether it is customer feedback or information collected on the forum. Finger puncture is a common problem in this
industry. At present, we have completely solved this problem.
After one and a half months of our innovation team, we have formulated a new material with more toughness and the
same softness based on the original hard hand material. We commonly call it "X" hard hand material, which can better
protect objects like spikes. At the same time, we changed the structure of the joint phalanges to make it blunt as a
whole. Under the simultaneous action of the two, a new process option of puncture-resistant fingers was produced.
Many people also wonder whether the hand X material and the body material are compatible, and whether there will be
obvious stratification. Here I can tell you that the hand X material can be perfectly integrated with the body material,
with only a slight transition at the junction, and the effect is better than before. If you don't look carefully, you can't see it.
But please don't imitate the extreme operation test in our video. After all, dolls need careful care and maintenance to accompany them for a long time.

So all of this information was quite impressive alone but they also posted this video that is mentioned above..
In this video you see some quite brutal smashing of the hand into the floor lol.
I was quite impressed at not only the fact the fingers skeleton did not poke out of the fingers but the impressive strenth of the skeleton in general to handle that kind of abuse..
As mentioned above this abuse is not recommended and is purely for demonstration only..

As you can see the results are quite impressive and I am sure this sort of technology will be copied over time and other brands will also do there own variations of this idea..
But the fact that these innovating ideas where actually created and are being perfected and integrated into the future models consumers will be buying is the best part of all of this..

If you are interested in seeing more about this technology here is a link to there forum page where you can participate in the community chat and ask your own questions about XT-Doll products or you can click the link to there main page..

In conclusion , The over all innovations in doll technology today is far more then ever seen before.
Today's market may be very flooded with brands from all around the world but innovations is what drives not only the industry but the community as a whole.
Improved products only mean better products for us (The consumer) and happy customers mean better sales and better sales equil more innovations ..
This is the evolusion of the doll industry and community and I personally thank these amazing manufactures for working to evolve the doll industry and making these wonderful creations even better ..

Thank you for reading and ill see you next time..

Good idea for a blog!yes
What progress has been made regarding the hands in 2 or 3 years! When I
discovered TDF, the simple fact that a doll had a rigid palm and a hinged wrist
(in only one direction) was still considered cutting edge.

Jiusheng has also just released videos with articulated but flexible fingers,
which they successfully put through harsh tests.
Along with weight reduction, improvements in reliability and maintenance are
what will most help expand the doll market, in my opinion.
