Over the Rainbow

Body:

Hi Coverdoll,

Well, it's been nearly a year since my last entry.  Sorry about that, but even a doll can be busy.  As many of you know, we returned to the Patch for 2011's Hershey Doll Meet.  Foxy bought each of us a storybook outfit and for a few days, I got to play Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.  It was a lot of fun.  Here are a few of the pictures taken:

In this first shot, Foxy rushed each of us out of the van and seated us in one of the dining rooms at the B&B.  There was already a lot of dolls there, and I was given a seat at a table with Dottie, Ceilidh, and Tira; all of whom came with Incrediwagon.  Sorry, but I don't recall the little doll's name.

We had a tea party later in the formal dining room where I got to sit next to the legendary Bianca.

Foxy had promised to do single pictorials with all of the Den girls this year, but bad weather kept much of our activity indoors.  He did manage to snag a couple of shots of me in my roll as Dorothy.  In this scene, I meet the Scarecrow (which was played by Foxy).  This is an un-edited photo.  The road is not made of Yellow Bricks, but the shot was fun nonetheless!  These meets are a lot of fun, and with so many dolls attending, there is so much to see (and photograph).  I do so hope we return next year!  ...And I'll try to make another blog entry before then.

Kisses,

Olivia (aka Dorothy)

Its good to meet other dolls, but unfortunately the opportunities are rare. Make the most of them.
