Warm rays of sunlight pass between the high branches of a beautiful Mediterranean forest in Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur, France.  They shine upon Anoukis,  a Private Island Beauty doll, highlighting her cream blush skin and ''Joon'' face, creating the essence of primal living.

Anoukis is both a companion and a photo model, sharing her existence with Bloublou and her husband.
Bloublou enjoys taking Anoukis outside, using beautiful landscapes, to highlight the coquetry and femininity she sees within her.  She says Anoukis' smile adds but one more sun beam to the forest.
This year, some of the beautiful landscapes Anoukis was photographed at, included a park, in the forest, at the beach, in the sea, in gardens, at the pool, and on the rocks.
BlouBlou and her husband enjoy taking Anoukis with them when they travel. She came with her special transport bag from PIB, but they are also can fit her in their big luggage.

About the Photographer

Bloublou uses 3 different cameras for her shootings - a Nikon D40x for portraits and macro, a Canon Powershot A490 for various pictures, and a Samsung Galaxy Note2.  This gives for her many abilities and photographic options.
Bloublou developed her passion for photography during her early years.  She began taking photos at school.  She studied a one year program learning about film photography and how to develop negatives from film and create photos in a dark room.
Her preferred subjects are nature, landscape and portrait.
However, Bloublou finds her doll to be the most interesting subject she has photographed and dolls have fueled and increased her passion for photography.
Bloublou prefers fundamental photography and seldom retouches her photos.   She is not a big fan of photo editing and prefers to capture her images as they appear to the eye, using natural ambient lightning.
She feels that as long as one has good technique and a keen eye that most any camera can be used to create a great work of art.

I guess the proof is in her work.

Thanks, Bloublou for sharing this creative primal photo shoot with CoverDoll visitors.

Note from the Editor: Each month we will feature a
different photographer's work. We invite doll owners and manufacturers
alike to participate in this new monthly feature. Photo shoots must meet
a minimum quality level. If you do not meet that level we are happy to
work with you, critique your photos and help you to raise the bar on
your photography. Good photo shoots can be had with low cost digital
cameras. It is all in the technique.

I always like outdoor shoots. But this is incredible! It seems Anoukis really lives in the woods :)

It sure isn't the usual place to find such a doll, but that's a big part of what makes this shoot so interesting! Great shots, nice angles... fine work, for sure.

Wasn't anyone scared of her falling out of the tree? :jawdrop:

Thanks all:)

No Zang, she was well supported by a tree branch :) The hardest thing was to lift her on the tree.
