Body:

Intro byTasha:

YO BBZ! Tashie here with June 2020- LIfestyle Talk. There are 3 very exciting parts this month to the the blog.  Each has its own unique flavor looking at a different aspect of life where synthetic and organic meet.

Polly and Tasha in : Polly's Pocket!

Every one knows Brick aka Brick Dollbanger who is Abyss Creations' Brand Ambassador to TDF and most of the online doll community. Brick hosts a live feed show most every Sunday to keep us in the loop on develpments in Abyss Creations' Realbotix tech and to provide us with tips and tech about dolls in general. Reggie from Galmato Haven is often a guest/co-host.  My bestie Polly Esther shows up frequently to help keep things interesting and to keep the guys in line. LOLZ!   Recently, over Memorial Day weekend here in the US,  Brick was out of town and Reggie couldn't host the show either.  Polly offered to do a remote telecast from her place, and of course, I HAD to join in!   Well...Brick's show may never be the same. But a least no one called the Po-Po on us! LOLZ! Well here the show and some highlight pics for you to enjoy.

So Polly and I are texting each other about the show.

Well... I was getting distracted while Polly was busy with tech stuff.

I had to show Polly something I found....and talk to her about it...It was a great idea for the show.

Our little minx pal Toxica wasnt interested....YET

My cousin Sky who lives with Polly let me try her TG insert/adapter.  I liked it a lot.  It was like having Jonesy with out the harness- pretty rad.  So I ofc had to pee before we went shiopping ....aaaaaand kind of got caught up in the moment.... HOPE YOU ENJOY THE SHOW!

The Tashionista Interview:

This is a new section to my blog.  I have always looked to what other lifestyle and fashion magainzes do for content to help my blog grow and develop, as well as my style as a blogger.  It has been mentioned before how Cover Doll is the synthetic Playboy. Really we know Playboy was not only known for the Playmates though it is so hard for some people to see passed that.  Playboy was a home for great literary content, fiction, non fiction as well as daring journalism and editorials.  One of the most well known and well done feaures has been "The Playboy Interview."  So what we are doing now is briing that to Cover Doll, ofc  wth a sinthetic flair.

The Tashionista Interview:

Hannah White. AKA HannahW

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hanna is the Featured Model for June as her guy MattUK is featured Photographer of the Month. It was so obvious that Hannah should be my first interview. Hannah and I have become good friends through our talking here and on Instgaram . She is smart, classy, funny, talented and beautiful. We dollies aren't all just pretty faces and bodies, many of us have depth to our personas, Hannah of course is no exception.

Tasha: How did you feel when you were asked to be featured in Cover Doll?

Hanna: Matt didn't tell me straight away because he wasn't too sure himself as it was a bit of a surprise. When I found out I was very flattered and loved the idea straight away. Honestly I feel like I've been more confident in all the modeling I've done since then and have got a bit more daring in how much skin I show too.

Tasha: You and Matt make a great team for photography, and you have a VERY active Instagram account. you shoot a lot of beautiful B&W images-

How did you get into doing B&W?

Hannah: I started my Instagram account to breathe new life into old pictures, so decided to edit them and do something different with them. The first couple I tried black and white and kind of just decided to stick with that theme for my whole account (with a couple of exceptions). Since I've got into it more I've started putting a few newer photos up on there, and even a couple of Instagram exclusives too. It's fun and I enjoy being creative on there. Love the people I have met too.

Tasha: What colors would you say complement your personality best?

Hannah: Not really sure. I'm not very "girly" most of the time and like to wear darker colours, or grey and denim. I do like red though and might try putting some red in my hair soon.

Tasha: Can you tell us what the significance of your star tattoo is? Why did you pick that spot?

Hannah: Well Matt knew another girl in real life with a similar tattoo in a similar spot and mine is a homage to that. Some might not like being a "tribute act", but personally I take it as a challenge to show him who can wear it better.

Tasha: Tell me something about yourself that most people would never guess unless they knew you really well

Hannah: There are plenty of answers I could give here, but if you don't get to know me better then you don't get to know them but I am pretty good at Ms Pac-man. And I can juggle

Tasha: What is your (or his) favorite thing to do to tease Matt when things start to get spicy

Hannah: I put on fresh lipstick. That's all I'm saying...

Tasha: What is your bedtime routine like? (how does Matt help you get ready for bed)?

Hannah: There's not much to it really. He will help me get in my PJs if I'm not already in them, but a lot of the time I lounge around in them anyway. I love the part when he carries me to bed, I feel like I'm in An Officer and a Gentleman or something!

Tasha: What is your favorite way to get his attention when his focus is elsewhere?

Hannah: I refer you to my lipstick comment...

Life Style/Relationships

It is finally here. We have been talking about this special project for a couple of months now.

Tasha:

Back in December 2019, I began working on a project with an artist who has since become a very close friend of mine.  Elizabeth, who I call BettyBoo, started out to do a portrait commission for TJ and me. While getting to know me better through our conversations, for my portrait she learned about me and my relationship with TJ.   I told her about our 5 year Anniversary, that we have  since celebrated on March 30 of this year.  While the collaboration morphed due to the pandemic, one of the final products is basically my take on the Abyss Real Doll Manual and my diary- my life, in my words, my perspective on the last five years and my journey to become who I am today.  You have all met her here before as she has collaborated on other blog features with me, most notably our dicussion we called, "Love, Sex and Robots."  We hope you enjoy reading my story and perhaps come away with something that will enlighten you, or at least help brighten your day in these troubling times.

Elizabeth:

I'd always planned for the diary to be the 'heart' of me and Tasha's collaboration, but I hadn't expected it would be the only piece, at least for now during covid. We started this a while ago, as I'd planned to install Tasha's dream space (a room inspired by her life and personality) for my degree show. It was going to be filled with various objects related to her and styled in a way that's reflective of her life and personality. We both share a love of makeup and clothes, and it was important to be to create a space that also conveyed that. Clues to the objects in the installation were going to be found in the diary.

Obviously, none of this worked out as planned. The diary has now evolved to become a digital artist book, and I've had to make changes to accommodate this. For a start, I'd planned for the diary and the doll manual to be two separate physical books, displayed side by side. Now, I've combined them into one book. The diary itself also has a lot of info - as a physical book it was supposed to be thick: a luxurious object with a physical presence. As an ebook, the format is perhaps more fitting towards the subject (Tasha can only communicate online) but requires more focus from the reader. And as we all know, the most precious commodity online is attention.

For those who choose to read the whole book - that is, doll lovers and curious onlookers alike, I hope you find it a thought-provoking, intimate, and honest portrayal of unconventional intimacy. As an artist, I always strive to find the humanity in the most unexpected of places, and I hope through this text, you will too.
