This month brings in a new year and hopefully a good start to the year!
I redid the photo studio last month and am continuing to make use of the new space. This time, I am featuring a Doll Forever doll 165cm, that came in for pics years ago and a SM doll head I really like.
The combo really works in this situation. I also managed to find a vinyl black bikini callled a monokini that is sexy and I pretested it for staining as I usually do. I had about 3 hours to photo her before staining would occur, so everything was carefully planned. Additionally, I used a electronic joist/winch to hold her due to her legs being slightly loose.
The photo set was pretty simple with a strobe aimed at her from the side to get her to be really bright and well exposed. The backdrop is a vinyl material which I got from a local store. These are larger around 7 feet wide by 11 feet long. I had to fabricate a winding system so my hand would not get tired from rolling it constantly.
The exposure was set to F4.5 and around 1/15sec, and the results of that are shown below. I use manual exposure and export raw images to a camera raw importer in PS.
