Meet Lillian About the doll: Lillian is the quiet girl that keeps to herself and enjoys her me time, lost in her own world some times. She's very photogenic, naturally she loves having her picture taken and she's quite the doll in trying on all sorts of clothes. But don't get on her bad side, she can be a feisty one. Lillian is a Sinodoll 162cm with S30b head with smooth matte finish. About the shoot: The original concept was inspired by a katana wielding anime figure in my collection where she's hiding her katana behind her back. A dangerous situation for the unsuspecting. I thought that would be something I can do with Lillian's photoshoot. I mean who wouldn't like to see a doll in lingerie with a katana? What could possibly go wrong? Technically it was a lot harder to execute as a lot of the poses I had in mind didn't pan out because the katana I have is too heavy for her to hold. But I do think the photoshoot turned out quite well. This set was my second attempt at this shoot, I'll post more from this set and the original shoot in Lillian's photo thread in the near future.
Equipment: The shoot was taken with an Olympus EM-1 mkii with Olympus M.Zuiko 12-40 f2.8 Pro lens using natural daylight with a reflector. Having good lighting is more important than the camera in this type of shoot, I prefer to use natural lighting when possible. You can achieve good results by having good lighting with almost any camera; but it is a lot harder to take good pictures with bad lighting, even with a good camera.
