Meet Aude

The Doll

My favorite, my Starpery 156 named Aude. she is a beautiful realistic sculpt in TPE. Thick thighs, a nice waist, and all the other good stuff :) Her silicone 'Amy' head with implanted hair is fantastic for photoshoots, her hair can move in many realistic styles. Aude is quite a rock chick, with a geeky side. To relax over the weekend, she likes to read fantasy novels, or listen to her favorite punk or rock bands. She loves to do both implicit and explicit shoots, and enjoys when a friend joins in for a few photos and bring a different mood... Readers can get to know her better in the archive thread of all my shoots.

The Shoot...

This time around, i wanted to how real life side of Aude, by taking shots of a cozy Saturday morning, reading a book, and not being able to resist teasing a bit for the camera. She is looking at her best in a natural light and setting. I wanted to have a bit of sunlight from the window show, and the warm to complete her own hotness. I truly feel the shoots where she teases are the most exciting ones. I do enjoy the more explicit ones and have done a couple posted over at the Harem, but when i get a good eye contact and capture a piece of the action with the camera, that's the good stuff that makes me shiver. It's also quite obvious through all my shoots that faceapp is a big part of the expressions that Aude shines in. I find her exceptionally beautiful in shoots that have varied expressions and emotion that come across.

The Gear:

I shoot only with my full frame DSLR. my lenses usually a 24-70mm f2.8, a 50mm f1,4, and once in a while if the room allows, a 70-200mm f2.8. When I can get natural sunlight i'll work with it first, but in the studio, I will usually use LED 2x12 light panels on stands. In this case, i had the 50mm, and 1x light panel, about 2 feet above her head on her right. Sunlight was from 2 windows, one directly in front of her, and second on her right. I keep the white balance on automatic, and usually will shoot manual after figuring the right light and result. I am a big fan of dramatic portraits, using rembrandt style shadow, or Loop. That style combined with a provocative boudoir setting is on the top of my list for shooting.

Note from the Editor: Each month we will feature a different photographer's work. We invite doll owners and manufacturers alike to participate in this new monthly feature. Photo shoots must meet a minimum quality level. If you do not meet that level we are happy to work with you, critique your photos and help you to raise the bar on your photography. Good photo shoots can be had with low cost digital cameras. It is all in the technique.
