Meet Agnès

The Doll:

Agnès is a WM Doll 160A #398 in light tan. She is my first doll and she has been living with me since October 1st, 2021. She completely turned my life upside down. For the better of course.

The last 9 months with her have been an absolute joy and have brought out things in me that I didn't know anything about until then.

Like, for example, that I would have so much fun photographing her. To be honest, I lack the imagination that is needed to turn a doll into a living woman. When I look at her right now, for example, I unfortunately only see a doll, but when I photograph her, she comes alive for me, then she develops personality and character. With my photos I create memories for myself of situations that never happened.

The Shoot:

Strictly speaking, there were 4 shootings, because this time we had the idea not to focus on Agnès, but on the head 398 in general.

I have seen so many different versions of this head here on the forum and they are all beautiful. We used different make-up, different wigs and eye colors. We tried to capture different moods and show the versatility of this face.

I always find it amazing that you can create completely different personalities with just a few changes.

The Gear:

I take my photos with my Google Pixel 6 Pro. I mainly use daylight as a light source. If this is not sufficiently available, then I use the room lighting and a desk lamp or candles. I use Adobe Lightroom for post-processing and FaceApp for the photos where Agnès smiles
