Meet Isla The Doll: Our gorgeous girl Isla was excited to be chosen to model for the Photographer of the Month this month. She is a WM 166D with the ever popular #273 head. She is the twin sister to our famous girl Samantha. The Shoot: The shoot took place at my home while Isla was showing off her new school uniform while she was doing her school homework. Things took a turn when she spotted my camera and lights that I had set up for another shoot I had planned. She was super excited to think I had set t all up for her. She is a natural model and certainly showed a lot more than what she shows at school. I was impressed. She loves being in front of the camera so she gave me the best shoot I’ve done with her in a long while. The Gear: The shoot took place in my lounge room. Photos were taken with an iPhone 13 Pro Max with 2 Good AD600 Pro studio lights set to constant modelling lighting. The photos were edited using Adobe Lightroom. I had planned on shooting with my Canon 1d Mk4 cameras but since the iPhone takes amazing photos, I used that instead.

Photo shoots must meet a minimum quality level. If you do not meet that level we are happy to work with you, critique your photos and help you to raise the bar on your photography. Good photo shoots can be had with low cost digital cameras. It is all in the technique.
