Immortalized In Ink

Body:

For a long time I've been wanting a model of my own for artwork.

Finally she's here, and I was delighted when I discovered CoverDoll not only has a fan art gallery, but is also accepting submissions to grow it. I thought... what the perfect place for sharing my doll sourced renderings!

She looks sweet, but her face is very versatile. I'm looking forward to working with her.

Presenting Prin Hiyamani's first portrait:

Several weeks ago, before Prin arrived, (and before I knew she was going to be the October cover model) Metricnut graciously gave me permission to do a painting of his beautiful girl Sasha.

Not only is she a work of art in her own right, but her lovely curves and beautiful features lend so wonderfully to my style of drawing.

I'm proud of how well this one turned out, and thankful to be able to honor her by displaying it here.

I even had to crop out a portrait from this pose.

When she takes her glasses off, and there's no barrier between you and her eyes, watch out. She can stop you in your tracks with a glance.

Making art can be very theraputic. You begin to sketch, draw, or paint, and you forget all about everything else and can disappear into it for a few hours.

It doesn't matter if others think you're work is good or bad. You don't have to make a masterpiece for others to appreciate. It's all about your own enjoyment.

I highly recommend getting out your pencils, markers or digital paintbrushes, just for the fun of it. Then submit them to CoverDoll, if you're so inclined.

Great work, JamesWorld! It's very Nagel-style, very much indeed. Well worth the extra effort you put in.

I had much the same idea a few years ago, using my Teddy Babe, and the results are right here at CoverDoll too: https://coverdoll.com/drupal/node/1651

Great to see someone else take the same approach!

your work is perfect and you love this style,

and thank you to cover doll for giving us the platform.

i hope that one day i can use this platform to produce an equally excellent work
