She's a Doll?

Body:

My model Prin is a WM153a with a #56 head.

I had fun painting this picture. She looked kinda pensive, and I loved how her wet hair in the source photo made shadows across her face. Almost looks like she's crying.

(I never know how the colors will appear to others. Every monitor is different. On my painting desktop computer they look vibrant, on my internet laptop, they look subdued.)

I imagine the scenario someday, where my artwork gets displayed and viewed, and they say to me... "That's not a doll? She looks too real!" and I respond humbly, "yes, she is a doll; and yes, she is very real".

Prinnie was simply?... born to be a muse.

I call her the one-shot-wonder, because it doesn't take the effort of multiple photos to get the right angle... She get's it perfect the first time.

My current enjoyment is digital art, but i'm here because i'm delighted that CoverDoll Magazine has an artwork gallery, and welcomes contributions.

Digital, watercolors, oils, pastel, colored pencils, pen and ink, (crayons)... Whatever your medium... I know there are other artists, photographers, writers and creative folks out there who find inspiration from their special dolls. Submit yours too!
